Star Fire by Katie M. John (Knight Trilogy #3)

Egypt changed them both in ways no one never expected.

As murder and dark arts cast a terrible shadow over both The Real World and The Realm, Mina’s connection to the mysterious Star Fire Sisterhood causes  her to become The Templars’ number one suspect.

Set amongst the snowy mountains of Switzerland and the ancient magical forests of of France, Blake and the House of Beldevier are given just one chance to save Mina’s life – the recovery of The Holy Grail.

In this epic heart-racing finale, ancient myths come alive and old scores are settled. One thing is for sure … the clock is ticking. From http://www.theknighttrilogy.com/

Wow, just when you think everything will be okay you find out something new. Mina is now a blood drinker because of what happened with that demon, Blake hasn’t told anyone what happened to him, and no one knows about Mina. Life is just super complicated for the newly married couple.

I didn’t know what was going to happen in this book but when Mina was jailed and Blake was sent on an adventure to get the Holy Grail back, I honestly didn’t think it was going to end the way that it did. I was worried, I wanted the happily ever after for them especially because of everything that happened to them in Egypt.

I definitely couldn’t put this book down, I stayed up until almost to the next sunrise reading it, it was exciting and there were so many moments that I worried about their relationship and what was going to happen to them. Blake went with Sam to find the grail, Delta stayed home to watch out for Vivian and her new baby and poor Mina was locked in an oubliette because of something she didn’t do.

Morgan and Merlin were working together, Merlin wanted revenge on Vivian for what she did to him and Morgan just wanted Blake still. She obviously didn’t learn anything from Immortal Beloved. There were secrets that were uncovered and lies that were told. And then more secrets happened with Sam and Delta who were dating but luckily enough they worked through theirs and decided to be only friends.

I can honestly say I was sad to see the end of the trilogy; I really enjoyed watching Mina, Blake, Sam and Delta become friends and more and grow as characters. I would love if there was a spin off for Sam and Delta because Mina and Blake would be mentioned in it, hopefully.

I gave this book 5 out of 5 stars.
