Seductions Kiss

About SEDUCTION’S KISS:

Never agree to a road trip to New Orleans with your roommate. At least not when your roommate is dragging you along while she reconnects with an ex-boyfriend. Possible consequences of failing to take my advice:

1) Unknowingly going out with a vampire stripper
2) Getting kidnapped by said vampire’s nest mates
3) Falling head over heels for your winged hero

Believe it or not number 3 is the worst one, especially when no one believes you that he exists.

*Prequel novella to Lure (The Allure Chronicles #1)*

Lure

About LURE:

There’s danger in the beauty…

Two years, six months, and twenty-five days. That’s how long it had been since I’d seen my winged hero— not that I’d been counting. I’d suffered through years of counseling just to convince my friends and family that I wasn’t crazy and knew he didn’t exist.

But he did. And I was done waiting.

Days after college graduation I headed back down to New Orleans to retrace my steps and find Owen again only to find my life was about to get even crazier… thanks to the most beautiful and dangerous of all paranormal creatures, the Allures.

How awesome are they? Yea I think Alyssa did fantastic with her choices in covers 😉

How to Date an Alien by Magan Vernon (My Alien Romance #1)

Published October 2, 2012 by crysbookreviews

High school senior Alex Bianchi’s estranged father gets her an internship at Circe Operations Center to pad her college applications. But Circe isn’t your typical military base. It’s an alien-run operation center and not all of the aliens are friendly, especially the one that tries to kill Alex on her first day. When Ace, a dark-eyed Caltian, enters and saves the day, she can’t help but be drawn to him. Can these star-crossed lovers survive when they’re on the brink of intergalactic war? From Goodreads.

This was the VERY first book by Magan that I read and it got me hooked with her books!!! I loved how the government knew all about aliens and even employed them to help with issues around the world with other aliens. I actually read this book before I read the Lux books by Jennifer L Armentrout. This was the book that made me fall in love with the possibility of an alien/human relationship.

I loved how Ace treated Alex. He was always there to save her, whether it was from other aliens in the facility or his crazy mom. He cared so much about her and her feelings that he is willing to forego his own happiness to allow Alex to make her own decisions in who she wants to be with for the rest of her life. Especially since his mom takes away that decision from her. I get why people freaked out in the book about them being together. I am more of a “as long as they are happy together and treat each other right, I don’t care.”

The action was mainly at the end of the book. When Alex had to save Ace from his mom, who Alex finds out that he is a HUGE deal on his planet. But I loved the fact that she saved him instead of him saving her. Of course, it really was more of a mutual save. She went to save him, got caught, he got her out of her prison, then they both got caught.

Either way I really enjoyed it and liked that it was so different at the time it came out. I can’t wait to read the next book.

I gave this book 4 out of 5 stars.

Waiting on Wednesday!!!

Published July 11, 2012 by crysbookreviews

Only sixteen when she started the series, Ally Adornetto knows how teen hearts beat, and this long-awaited conclusion is certain to be her most popular book yet.

Bethany, an angel sent to Earth, and her mortal boyfriend, Xavier, have been to Hell and back. But now their love will be put to its highest test yet, as they defy Heavenly law and marry. They don’t tell Beth’s archangel siblings, Gabriel and Ivy, but the angels know soon enough, and punishment comes in a terrifying form: the Sevens, who are rogue angels bent on keeping Beth and Xavier apart, destroying Gabriel and Ivy, and darkening angelic power in the heavens.

The only way Bethany and Xavier can elude the Sevens is to hide in the open, and blend in with other mortals their own age. Gabriel and Ivy set them up at college, where they can’t reveal their relationship, and where there is still danger around each corner. Will Bethany be called back to Heaven – forever – and face leaving the love of her life? From Goodreads.

Why I am waiting for it.

The first two books of this trilogy were very good and the covers for all 3 books are amazing. I love the star crossed lover stories, a lot. Probably more than I like any other love stories. At the ending of Hades, I really can’t wait to see how it all ends.

Out Of The Dark by Quinn Loftis

Out of the Dark by Quinn Loftis (The Grey Wolves #4)

Darkness has descended on the Transylvanian Alps.
Four packs of the powerful Grey wolves – in a rare show of cooperation – had joined together here in an effort to help their pack members find true mates. Then they were betrayed by one of their own – an Alpha hell-bent on becoming the most powerful of the Canis lupis. And though the wolf’s assassination attempt on the currently-reigning Romanian Alpha failed, his plans to get Decebel, the Romanian Beta, out of the picture were coming together even as his treachery was discovered. The wolf fled, leaving destruction, death, and a missing mate behind him.

Unbeknownst to the other packs, the wolf has employed a witch to finish the deadly job and help him gain another tool to increase his power. A curse of devastating proportions will cripple Decebel in a way that may dissolve his fragile bond with Jennifer. Meanwhile, injured and alone, Jen has been fighting for her life. She had come to terms with her fate, accepting that she would not share a life with Decebel, until help came in the most unexpected form…

Vasile will have to use all his resources – including Sally, the new gypsy healer of the Romanian pack – to discover a way in which to destroy the witch, lift the curse from Decebel and reunite him with the one woman who makes him whole, and solve a mystery that’s been surrounding the Romanian pack for 300 years. From Goodreads.

Oh geez. It is just getting crazier. Sally is a Gypsy healer, Jen and Dec are still separated but it is worse than ever since he was cursed to forget all about her, the curse was originally for Fane and Jacque, the mansion that everyone was staying at burnt to the ground because of a witch. It was crazy, luckily for Jen she was found by Grey Wolves that were hiding for that witch because the girl is a Gypsy healer and also a wolf.

Throughout the story I really, really wanted to cry for Jen and Dec. They went through so much and it just got worse and worse. Eventually they bonded and married. But tragedy struck again but luckily the Fey stepped in and saved the day. Literallly.

I don’t want to give too much away because the story is great from book one all the way through. But this time Sally and Costin are learning how to get along since there is a pull to each other but they don’t understand how because she doesn’t have any wolf blood in her. Just the Gypsy blood which is explained eventually by Jen and Jacque to her and Dec and Vasile explain it to Costin.

The battle was pretty epic but obviously it isn’t over since the reason why it happened at all was the witch and she managed to get away. I am hoping there is another book, I am sure there is but there isn’t any info out yet about it. I know I don’t give much away but I really like this story, she took another step with the werewolf legend and changed it up enough that made it completely different then most stories out there. I do recommend reading this series if for no other reason than the hot guys in it.

I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.

The Vincent Boys by Abbi Glines

The Vincent Boys by Abbi Glines

Being the good girl isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Ashton Gray has grown weary of playing the part to please her parents, and to be worthy of the town’s prince charming, Sawyer Vincent. Maybe That’s why she’s found herself spending time with Sawyer’s cousin, Beau, while he’s away for the summer camping with his family. Beau is nothing like her perfect boyfriend. He’s the sexiest guy she’s ever seen, dangerous in ways she’s only day dreamed about, and the one guy she should stay away from.

Beau never envied Sawyer his loving parents, his big nice home, or his position as quarterback. He loves him like a brother. Which is why he’s tried everything in his power to keep his distance from Sawyer’s girlfriend. Even if he has loved her since the age of five, Ashton is Sawyer’s girl, so therefore she’s off limits. But when Sawyer leaves for the summer, Ashton, the one girl Beau would move Heaven and Earth for, decides she wants to get into trouble. Stabbing the one person who’s always accepted him and stood by him in the back, is the cost of finally holding Ashton Gray in his arms. Is she worth losing his cousin over?…. Hell Yeah. From Goodreads.

I love Abbi Glines. Why? Because she is awesome, seriously. This story is about Beau and Ashton finding their friendship and falling madly in love at the same time. Of course the bad thing is that Ashton is in a serious relationship and has been, even worse is the fact the guy happens to be Beau’s cousin and best friend, Sawyer. He probably shouldn’t have gone camping that summer.

I loved how the story started with Ash trying to be a Good Samaritan and help Beau out because he is drunk and so is his date. Of course she didn’t want to do and was deciding on actually stopping at the same time she was stopping to help. She is convinced she isn’t good enough for Sawyer because she wants passion in her relationship and she wants to say what she thinks most of the time. She just wants to be herself instead of the goody goody everyone thinks she is.

Beau, not only was he sexy but he was so sweet to Ash. He didn’t want her to get hurt and protected her fiercely. He was willing to let her go if she chose Sawyer again but he really didn’t want her to go. Of course he probably should have showed it more than he did.

Sawyer was a sweet guy but he just wasn’t right for Ash. When he came back you could see it in their relationship, it was like they were friends. There was no passion between them even though Sawyer thought there was but wasn’t willing to do anything more than kiss her.

Of course there were secrets that came out from Beau’s mom. Neither one of them was willing to accept it at first but of course, Sawyers dad confirmed it. I won’t be spilling any of the secrets here, so you should just buy the book and read it. It was such a great story; I loved it from the first word until the last.

I give this story 5 out of 5 stars.
