Honestly the only reason I read this book was 2 reasons at first, one was the hot guy with wings on the cover and the other was because of the steamy name of the book. Boy was I happy that I read this book too.

There were so many parts of this book that I felt bad for Samantha, it was like being stabbed multiple times but so many people because she was continually lied to, especially after she has been lusting after a certain neighbor that tells her nothing and kisses her only to change her into something that she doesn’t want to be. All I can say is boys; you never know what they are going to do. Honestly if it had been me, I don’t think I would have been able to trust anyone but she does.

Bishop is an angel, which of course is super hot and that means that he is super hot in that supernatural way that all girls love. Okay and women, we all love it. I thought that he was a nice guy but I didn’t like that he was hiding things from Samantha when he obviously needed her help when things started to go haywire.

I loved how in this book, the angels and demons worked together because they needed to take down another type of bad guy. Which happens to be what Samantha was changed into, hopefully she will get that free pass as long as she holds back from I guess it would be intimacy in anyway. Which kind of blows for her, I really want her to get her soul back because she deserves it.

I almost want there to be a third book about what happens after this book ended. Just because I loved these characters so much. Jaden, Pris, Aspen and Sebastian, were amazing friends to each other and more.

This book was about Jaden and his discovery of not only who he is but why he is worthy of being someone. There were so many moments that I loved Jaden for but there were other moments that I wanted to hit him harder than I wanted to hit Sebastian in the first book. I honestly thought about throwing my Nook Color across the room because how he thought of himself and how he refused to let anyone help him.

No matter what though they all loved him and wanted to make sure that he would be okay. They were not happy to find out that Jaden was disbanding their group and moving to Texas to stay with his uncle. I couldn’t believe he would do that to Sebastian but not only him but Pris. I wanted them to fall in love and stay together forever.

On the road trip that they talked him into going on still, he learned that he was a better person than he knew or was told his whole life. Before he left, he found out that the dad he always thought was his ended up not being his dad at all. When that happened something broke inside of him and he couldn’t understand why his mom would allow some stranger to talk to him so badly his whole life.

The book was amazing, I don’t want to give too much away but the characters themselves are worth reading the book. They remind me of my best friends, we would do anything for each other no matter what. There were secrets that were eventually told; Jaden let someone in on everything. It was a great book and I already kind of miss the characters.

This story was amazing, I had to force myself to put it down or else I would have probably stayed up till the sun came up reading it. I loved how it was told from both perspectives so we knew how Noah and Echo both felt not only about each other but about their situations.

Now this book hasn’t come out yet but it will be out at the end of the month, so I don’t want to give too much away. I loved how no matter how broken Echo was, she was able to eventually learn to love herself and others. I was glad that she had friends like Lila and Natalie, I didn’t like Grace too much because of the public/private thing. Although she did give her some very good advice that did help Echo out when she needed it the most.

Noah has had a completely different life but similar at the same time. He has 2 best friends in Beth and Isaiah, and they are honestly really great characters. Although they have their own issues, I want to know all about their relationship and how it grows but that would be a whole other book. Noah is very loyal to his little brothers and is willing to do almost anything to have them in his life, of course what older sibling wouldn’t want their younger ones when push came to shove?

There were so many parts to this book that I wanted to cry at, because I understood how it felt, to a degree. I know how scared it is to be a younger sister and watch your older brothers go to war; I know how scary it is to lose someone you are close to. This whole story made me rethink everything, as a whole which is what makes this story honestly a great one. I can’t wait to see what else Katie comes out with.
